Yesterday I took the day off “real” work to help my older son move back home. Yes it’s temporary and yes I’m a pushover. LOL.

I have a nice Bissel carpet steamer cleaner and I cleaned the carpets in the apartment for him – all 1200 sq foot, 3 bedrooms, living room, dining area and looooong hallway. OMG, my hands, arms, heck my whole body, is sore.

Now the good news is, they are all moved out (he and his roommates). A few more quick touch-ups, like vacuuming to fluff the carpet and a mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors, then they turn in the keys. I think the year of living away from home has taught him some valuable, albeit hard, lessons.

Now we’ll see how long he lives at home before he drives me crazy…
