I was heartbroken to read that one of my favorite captains on Deadliest Catch, Phil Harris, passed away. It’s one of my favorite shows!

After surviving a clot a few years ago, Phil apparently had a massive stroke about two weeks ago and slipped away yesterday.

I’m so sorry to hear he died, and so young too! He was only 53, leaving behind his boys Jake and Josh. The Cornelia Marie won’t be the same without him.

Goodbye Phil. Godspeed.

On another note, a friend of mine’s dad passed away this week as well. I know she is heart-broken and I’m sending all my cyber-hugs to Susan as she deals with losing her daddy. I know what a mess I’d be.

What a sad week.

   We are Deadliest Catch fans…Love the marathons….I too felt like someone close to me had died. S
