I’m pleased, tickled, excited and thrilled to announce that I have officially contracted with Samhain Publishing to publish Devils on Horseback: Lee! (And if Lee T. in Texas is reading this, he’s not based on you, I promise :).

*tosses confetti*

I wrote the book in the spring, revised it in the summer, had my lovely beta reader (thank you RC!) give me feedback, then resubmitted it. And voila! I now have contract. Lee is the one-armed hero, a stubborn cuss with a huge chip on his shoulder. He was a tough hero to write, let me tell ya, but the heroine, Genevieve, man I totally love her. She’s tough, outspoken and doesn’t take crap from a one-armed loudmouth like Lee. In fact, she sees past that angry exterior and sees the heart of the man beneath.

I am such a romantic and damn, I totally love it. Woohoo! So I must do the Snoopy dance…

The release date for Lee’s book is May 2010 – the exact date isn’t set in stone, but tentatively for the 18th. And the really good news is, Gideon’s story has been brewing in my mind this week (after 3 weeks of NO writing, my creative batteries are almost recharged). I dreamt of the first scene in the book and so I will begin writing it today!
