Game. Face. On.

But Thanksgiving, well, that is completely distracting. I love the crazy family get-togethers, too much food, a ginormous clean-up effort in the kitchen and even the forgotten something in the refrigerator (like the Jell-O).

Why? Because I really do have so much to be thankful for. Mushy as it sounds, it’s still true. I just love holidays even if they are a big mess. LOL.

However I really do have to write. My second Emma Lang book is due December 1. Believe it or not y’all, that’s a week from today. ONE WEEK.

*gasp*

I’m working on it, I swear. Fortunately I have the next five days off work to crank the rest of it out. Yes, I’ll be at my sister’s on Thanksgiving and yes, I “might” go shopping on Friday, but I’m bringing out the game face.

*slips on game face*
