The hibernation continues… more fun!

I’m hibernating with my laptop so I’m posting fun stuff for y’all to do. This is an aura quiz…

Your Aura is Blue

Your Personality: Your natural warmth and intuition nurtures those around you. You are accepting and always follow your heart.

You in Love: Relationships are your top priority, and this includes love. You are most happy when you are serious with someone.

Your Career: You need to help others in your job to feel satistifed. You would be a great nurse, psychologist, or counselor.

Three days to knock out a lotta stuff

Hmph. I’m a dork. Big time. Remember how I said I had a lot to do? I still do. I only wrote about 2K yesterday. That leaves me A LOT left to do.

I’m going to be glued to my laptop this weekend with my game face in place (it slipped a wee bit yesterday). But I found it again.

So to keep y’all entertained while I kick my own ass, here’s some quizzy fun.

I am BUFFY! Woohoo!

You Are Buffy the Vampire Slayer

The game face is on…

Oh yeah, folks, it’s time for the game face.

I’ve got 19 days until my deadline for Devils on Horseback: Nate and I’m going to hit that date, come hell or high water.

Of course, both may hit before that date anyway. I’ve got to grab my fire extinguisher and my bathing suit and be ready for anything. I had eleven days off, of which I now have four left. Big plans to get it all finished by the time I went back to my real job on January 2.

For some reason, I had the hardest time focusing on the story, although I was so excited to start writing it. It’s flowing now but of course I’m behind on where I should be at this point.

So for all you writers out there, what do you do when you have a looming deadline and a shitload of work left to do? Any special tips or tricks? I’m in desperate need of any bones you can throw me.

A muse perhaps that I can ogle and be, ahem, inspired by?

The Bounty is nominated for a CAPA!

I’m thrilled to say that The Bounty has been nominated for a Cupid and Psyche Award (CAPA) from The Romance Studio reviewers.

I received a Gold Star Award from JERR for The Reward which was beyond thrilling, but never been nominated for anything like this. It’s incredibly exciting and a bit unbelievable. I’ll be anxiously awaiting the announcement of the winners in February.

Save the Snowman

This is a lot of fun, like playing hangman when you were a kid. Do you remember?

Go Save the Snowman!

I sort of killed him… a lot. See if you can do any better.
